The EDM 100 C 12V IP57 small axial fan is designed for short air ducts with low pressure loss or for ventilation through a wall. The bathroom fan marked C 12V is a safe design (can be placed directly above a shower or bathtub) and is equipped with an automatic electric return shutter delayed by approximately 45 seconds. The small fan is suitable for ventilating bathrooms or toilets.
Housing
The fan housing is made of impact-resistant plastic. The fan housing is designed for wall or ceiling mounting.
Impeller
The fan impeller is axial and made of impact-resistant plastic.
Motor
The fan motor is asynchronous with a squirrel cage and shielded pole. The small axial fan is equipped with motor overload protection. The maximum operating ambient temperature is 40°C. The degree of protection is IP57.
Terminal block
The fan terminal block is accessible after removing the front grille. The fan is connected by a cable under the plaster.
Speed control
The fan speed is controlled by changing the voltage.
Noise
The noise generated by the fan is measured at a distance of 1.5 m in the fan axis.
Installation
Installation is possible both horizontally and vertically. Fixing screws and dowels are included in the package.

Z roku 1948 pocházejí patentové přihlášky Eduarda SOLERA na motor s vnějším rotorem, který firma Soler & Palau začala využívat ve ventilátorech o mnoho let dříve než ostatní výrobci. Ti tento typ motoru začali využívat až poté, co Soler & Palau vyrobil první milion motorů.
