The Rosenberg DV / DVS fan housing is made of seawater-resistant aluminium and the base frame is equipped with an integrated inlet nozzle made of galvanised steel sheet. The impellers are installed directly on the rotors of the motors with external rotors. Fans up to size 400 have impellers with backward curved blades made of plastic, from size 450 onwards they are made of aluminium. The drive motors are fitted with an IP54-protected connection box, which is easily accessible when the rain cover is removed.
