The acid-resistant Maico GRK R 28/4 D radial duct fan with a size of 280 mm and a flow rate of up to 1600 m³/h is designed for aggressive and corrosive environments. Thanks to its 370 W single-phase motor, IP55 protection and the possibility of installation in any position, it guarantees reliable operation in industrial and commercial ventilation systems.
TheMaico GRK R 28/4 D fan is made of highly resistant plastics, which ensure its long service life even in demanding environments. The fan body is made of polyethylene (PE) and the radial impeller with backward curved blades is made of polypropylene (PP). These materials provide excellent resistance to acids, corrosive vapors, and chemically aggressive substances, making the fan an ideal choice for industrial operations, laboratories, and electroplating shops.
TheMaico GRK R 28/4 D fan is designed for direct installation into a duct system with a circular outlet diameter of 280 mm. The standard position of the casing is LG 270°, but thanks to the possibility of rotation in 45° increments, the fan can be adapted to various installation situations. It comes with a stable steel base with an epoxy coating, which allows for firm and secure attachment to the floor or structure.
TheMaico GRK R 28/4 D fan's operating temperature range is from −15 °C to +70 °C, which allows it to be used in a wide range of applications. The motor is protected by IP 55 and equipped with a thermistor that monitors the winding temperature and ensures safe disconnection in case of overheating. As a result, the fan offers reliable, continuous, and safe operation (S1) even in demanding industrial conditions.
