The TD 2000/315 SILENT Ecowatt economical and quiet duct fan is designed for connection to circular ductwork. The silent fan from the TD SILENT series is made of galvanized steel sheet coated with epoxy paint, the great advantage is the disassembly of the motor part of the fan without the need to disconnect the air duct. The TD SILENT fan is one of the quietest on the market. The fan speed can be controlled by a potentiometer in the terminal block or by an external REB Ecowatt speed controller, the speed can also be controlled linearly by a 0-10VDC signal from a temperature, humidity or CO2 sensor. The TD SILENT fan motor is EC with thermal and electronic overload protection. The fan is suitable for extraction of larger bathrooms, garages, workshops. Installation of the fan is possible in any position. The housing must not transmit mechanical stress from the ductwork, we recommend using a circular flexible VBM connection. Due to its very low profile, high efficiency and very low noise level, the fan is suitable for demanding applications where economical operation applies.
Housing
The fan housing is made of tough plastic (TD-350 to TD-1000) or epoxy coated galvanized steel sheet (TD-1300-TD-2000). Fans in TD-350 to TD-1000 versions include a patented vector silencer, fan sizes TD-1300 and TD-2000 have fiberglass noise insulation. The design of the fans allows for easy removal of the motor section.
Motor
The energy-saving fan motor is EC with thermal and electronic overload protection. Ball bearings, insulation class B, IP44 protection. Operating temperature -20 to 40 °C.
Terminal block
The terminal block of the fan is located on the housing, it is rotatable 360° for cable connection from any direction (only for TD-350 to TD-1000). For fans type TD-1300 and TD-2000 the terminal block is removable, protection IP55.
Speed control
Fan motors are controlled by a potentiometer located in the terminal block or by an external REB Ecowatt speed controller. The speed can also be controlled linearly by a 0-10VDC signal from a temperature, humidity or CO2 sensor.
Mounting
Mounting is possible in any fan position. The housing must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ductwork. A flexible connection to the ducting must be used. Due to their very low profile, high efficiency and low noise, the fans are suitable for demanding applications where their very economical operation is also applicable.

Měření jsou prováděna podle standardů AMCA a BRITISH STANDARDS. Ve zkušebně je 6 stálých měřících tratí na měření výkonových charakteristik ventilátorů včetně potřebných řídících pracovišť. Z roku 1948 pocházejí patentové přihlášky Eduarda SOLERA na motor s vnějším rotorem, který firma Soler & Palau začala využívat ve ventilátorech o mnoho let dříve než ostatní výrobci. Ti tento typ motoru začali využívat až poté, co Soler & Palau vyrobil první milion motorů.
