The TD 6000/400 circular duct fan is designed for connection to a circular air duct. The silent fan from the TD MIXVENT series is made of galvanized steel sheet coated with epoxy paint, the great advantage is the disassembly of the motor part of the fan without disconnecting the air duct. The two-turn fan can be controlled by changing the voltage. The fan is suitable for extracting larger bathrooms, garages, workshops. Installation of the fan is possible in any position. The housing must not transmit mechanical stress from the ductwork, we recommend using a circular flexible VBM connection.
Housing
The TD-160 to TD-800 fan housings are made of plastic, the TD-1000 to TD-6000 models are made of galvanized steel sheet with epoxy paint. The housing consists of a mounting rail with two throats and a motor. The design allows the motor section to be removed without disconnecting the ducts.
Impeller
The impellers of the TD-160 to TD-800 fans are made of impact-resistant plastic, while the impellers of the TD-1000 to TD-6000 fans are made of aluminum.
Motor
The AC motors in the TD-160 through TD-350 fans have dual windings, allowing for dual speed operation. The TD- 500 to TD-2000 fans have triple windings. The TD-4000 and TD-6000 have a single winding and can be controlled by changing the voltage. The motors are equipped with thermal fuse (TD 160-TD 350) or thermal protection (TD 500-TD 6000). The bearings are ball bearings with greased for life. Insulation class B, protection IP44 (TD 250, 350, 800-2000), insulation class F, protection IP44 (TD 500), insulation class F, protection IP54 (TD 4000, 6000). TD and TD-T fans are for 230 V, except for TD 4000 TRIF (230/400 V) and TD 6000 TRIF, where the supply voltage is 400 V.
Terminal box
The terminal box is located on the fan housing, some types contain a start-up capacitor.
Fan speed control
For double-winding AC motors (TD 160-350), the speed is switched in two stages using REGUL 2 or COM 2 controllers or by changing the voltage with REB (continuous control) or REV (five-stage control) controllers. For triple winding motors (TD 500 - TD 2000), the speed is switched in three stages using COM 3 or INT 4P controllers or voltage change control with REB (stepless control) or REV (five stage control). The TD 4000 and 6000 can only be regulated by changing the voltage. The TD 4000 and 6000 TRIF can be controlled by voltage or frequency converters. TD-T with one winding and built-in timing cannot be controlled.
Fan mounting
Fan mounting is possible in any fan position. The housing must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ducts. A flexible connection to the ductwork must be used.

Měření jsou prováděna podle standardů AMCA a BRITISH STANDARDS. Ve zkušebně je 6 stálých měřících tratí na měření výkonových charakteristik ventilátorů včetně potřebných řídících pracovišť. Z roku 1948 pocházejí patentové přihlášky Eduarda SOLERA na motor s vnějším rotorem, který firma Soler & Palau začala využívat ve ventilátorech o mnoho let dříve než ostatní výrobci. Ti tento typ motoru začali využívat až poté, co Soler & Palau vyrobil první milion motorů.
