The TD 2000/315 SILENT 3V silent duct fan is designed for connection to a circular air duct. The silent fan from the TD SILENT series is made of galvanized steel sheet coated with epoxy paint, the great advantage is the disassembly of the motor part of the fan without disconnecting the duct. The TD SILENT fan is one of the quietest on the market. The three-speed fan can be controlled by changing the voltage. The fan is suitable for extracting larger bathrooms, garages, workshops. The fan can be installed in any position. The cabinet must not transmit mechanical stress from the ductwork, we recommend using a circular flexible VBM connection.
Fan housing
The SILENT fan housing is made of plastic and consists of a mounting bracket for easy and quick mounting on the wall or ceiling, a noise absorber (silencer) and a motor. Easy removal of the motor part, which is attached with quick-release clips. The connection ports are equipped with rubber seals.
Fan impeller
The fan impeller is made of plastic.
Fan motor
The AC fan motors have triple windings to allow three speed operation, regulation is possible by changing the voltage. The motors are equipped with a thermal fuse. Grease-filled ball bearings for life. Insulation class B, protection class IP44. Fans are for single-phase voltage 230V.
Fan terminal box
The terminal box is located on the fan housing, some types include a start-up capacitor.
Speed control
For AC motors with triple windings, the speed is switched in three stages using COM 3, INT 4P controllers or voltage change control with REB - continuous control or REV - five stage control can be used.
Mounting
The fans can be mounted in any position. The housing must not transmit mechanical stresses from the pipework. We recommend using a flexible connection.
