The Systemair RS 70-40 L3 sileo fan can be used for air supply or extraction. Its low-profile design makes it ideal for use in spaces with limited installation height. As a result, these fans can be used in a variety of commercial and industrial applications.

Motor
The fan motor is mounted on a hinged door for easy maintenance. The fan casing is made of galvanised steel sheet with corrosion resistance class C3. PG20 flanges facilitate connection to ductwork. It is also fitted with an electrical terminal block with IP54 rating.
Installation
Systemair RS 70-40 L3 sileo fans can be installed indoors in any position. The flanges facilitate the fitting of a wide range of accessories. To prevent vibrations being transmitted to the ductwork, it is recommended to use flexible mounting clamps.

Thermal protection and speed control
The motors of the RS 30-15, RS 40-20 and RS 50-25 fans are fitted with built-in thermal contacts with an electrical restart function. Other fans have motors fitted with built-in TK thermal contacts connected to the fan’s terminal block, which must be connected to the appropriate thermal protection relay. Fan speed can be controlled using a frequency converter with a sine filter, a thyristor or a 5-step transformer.
