Description
The Systemair KVK fan can be used for supply or extract air where quiet operation matters. This makes it suitable for a wide range of commercial and residential applications.
Design
The Systemair KVK fan is fitted with a backward-curved impeller. For easy maintenance and cleaning, the motor is mounted on a hinged plate. The fan for circular ducting is thermally and acoustically insulated with a 50 mm layer of mineral wool.
Installation
The Systemair KVK fan can be installed in any position. Outdoor installation is only possible with a protective weather hood.
Thermal protection and speed control
The fan is fitted with a motor with integrated thermal contacts routed to the terminal box, which must be connected to a suitable thermal protection relay. Fan speed can be controlled using a frequency converter with a sine filter, a thyristor controller, or a 5-step transformer.
