MultiMaxx heating units – what types are available?

A fan heater is an electrical device used to heat a given space or ensure thermal comfort in a building. There are many different types of fan heater units designed for heating industrial buildings (production halls, warehouses, depots) or commercial buildings (hospitals, hotels, entrance halls, etc.).

What types of fan heaters do we supply?

The category of fan heaters includes heating units with various heat sources designed primarily for industrial buildings. Depending on the heat source available, we can choose between hot water, hot air, steam, electric, or gas hot air heating units. However, we can also offer heating unit solutions for potentially explosive atmospheres - ATEX EX II 2G IIB T4/T3.

MultiMaxx HN fan heaters with water exchanger

Heating, cooling, and ventilation units are used for heating, cooling, ventilation, or air filtration and are installed in industrial, storage, sales, or exhibition spaces. Filters, mixing chambers, air intake elements, hangers, and control boxes with appropriate sensors, such as room thermostats and industrial thermostats, are available as accessories. The heating units are designed for spaces with a temperature of +40 °C.

What types of fans can I choose from?

Fan with curved blades

Axial fan with an external rotor motor and built-in protective grille, designed for increased pressure and noise requirements. Pressure stable even in applications with air mixing, filtration, or for greater required ranges/suspension heights. The optimized suction nozzle significantly reduces noise parameters. The impeller with curved blades is made of aluminum casting, balanced at the manufacturing plant, and requires no maintenance.

IP54 protection, temperature class F, thermocontact connected to the terminal block, AC motors in two variants 3x400V and one variant 3x500V, EC motors in one variant 1x230V and one variant 3x400V.

Fan with wide blades

Standard axial fan with external rotor motor with built-in protective grille. The heating unit with wide blade fan is designed for normal pressure and noise requirements. The impeller is equipped with aluminum wide blades, which are balanced at the factory. Maintenance-free.

IP54 protection, temperature class F, thermal contact connected to the terminal block, AC motors in three variants 3x 400V and two variants 1x 230V.

What types of water exchangers can I choose from?

Cu/Cu exchanger - heating water - PWW or cooling water PKW
High-performance exchanger for heating with heating water or cooling with cooling water in medium and high air pollution. Improved heat transfer from the pipe to the fins is achieved even with a larger fin spacing thanks to the optimal use of the exchanger surface. The exchanger is made of copper pipes with profiled copper fins, fin spacing 3.0 mm with 1, 2, 3 or 4 rows of pipes. The Cu/Cu exchanger is suitable for connecting the medium from the right or left.

Cu/Al exchanger - heating water - PWW or cooling water PKW
Standard exchanger for heating with heating water or cooling with cooling water in low air pollution conditions. The exchanger is made of copper pipes with profiled aluminum fins, fin spacing 2.5 mm, with 1, 2, 3, or 4 rows of pipes. The Cu/Al exchanger is suitable for connecting the medium from the right or left.

Fe/Fe Zn exchanger - heating water - PHW
High-performance industrial exchanger for hot water heating, suitable for environments with maximum air pollution. The exchanger has a robust design, consisting of elliptical steel finned tubes (S, T) or round tubes (R). The entire exchanger is hot-dip galvanized, which ensures high-quality heat transfer between the tube and fins as well as high-quality corrosion protection. Steel exchangers are designed for PHW heating water and have media connections from the top, right, or left.

Fe/Fe heat exchanger - steam
High-performance heat exchanger for steam heating in environments with maximum air pollution. The exchanger has a robust construction made of steel circular finned tubes. The entire exchanger is hot-dip galvanized, which ensures high-quality heat transfer between the pipe and fins as well as high-quality corrosion protection. Steel exchangers designed for steam are suitable for connecting the medium from above (condensate drainage is provided at the bottom).

  • Maximum operating pressure 1 RR: 0.8 MPa (8 bar) - (0.5 MPa - 158 °C)
  • Maximum operating pressure 2 RR: 0.8 MPa (only for R)

Cooling with condensate drain or condensate pump

The MultiMaxx HN units can be used in cooling mode in addition to heating. The Cu/Al or Cu/Cu exchanger can be operated with cooling water or a mixture of water and glycol. Units equipped with a 3-row or 4-row exchanger and a lower speed motor fan are used for cooling. Thanks to the lower air speed, condensate is reliably drained into the condensation tray.

MultiMaxx HE electric heating units

MultiMaxx HE electric heating units are used for heating, ventilation, or air filtration and are designed for installation in industrial, storage, sales, and exhibition spaces for operation at temperatures from -5 °C to +40 °C. The protection rating is IP42.

Standard axial fan with external rotor motor and support cage with integrated protective grille against contact, designed for normal pressure and noise requirements. The impeller with wide aluminum blades is factory-balanced and maintenance-free.

Heating battery

The heating battery consists of stainless steel heating rods assembled into three separate sections. These sections are connected to a terminal block, which connects the battery to the power supply (400V / 50Hz or 500V / 50Hz). Automatic and manual fuses are provided to protect against overheating. The heating battery is mounted in a compact galvanized steel enclosure.
