KPK and RSKW odour-proof non-return dampers
After a busy day, you sit down at the table with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, breathe in the scent of your clean apartment, and suddenly smell cigarette smoke or fried food from your neighbors? Or do you want to take a relaxing bath after an exhausting day, only to have your mood ruined by odors coming from the fan or risers in the bathroom or toilet? Is cold air blowing through the ventilation ducts? Is there an effective solution to this problem? If you are asking yourself the same questions, then you have come to the right place. We offer odour-proof non-return dampers that will prevent these undesirable situations.
An illustrative example of when it is sufficient to install an odour-proof non-return dampers in the ductwork
Many of us live with neighbors in apartment buildings or apartment complexes, where a central ventilation system is used via risers. This is where odors from neighboring apartments come from. If you are also bothered by this problem, we have a solution for you that does not require major intervention in the ventilation system, as it closes the ventilation opening but maintains air extraction from the apartment. Simply put, everything that needs to go out will go out, but unwanted odours from the surroundings will not get in.
The solution to your situation is to install an RSKW odour-proof non-return damper or a KPK odour-proof non-return damper in the circular duct of your kitchen hood or fan. The odour-proof non-return dampers are fitted with a rubber seal around the circumference, which ensures adhesion, tightness in the ventilation duct and odour-proofing when used with a cooker hood. When the ventilation in your apartment is turned on, the damper opens automatically and allows odours or cold air to escape. When the fan or hood is turned off, the tight damper prevents air from flowing back and unwanted odours from the surrounding area from entering the interior.
The tight non-return damper is selected according to the type of ventilation and the diameter of the ventilation duct. Our range includes non-return dampers for ducts with dimensions of 80 mm – 200 mm.
What size damper should I choose for this duct?
The 110KG, 125KG, and 160KG odor-tight backdraft dampers are designed only for KG or HT exhaust ducts – orange or gray ducts.
Odour-tight backdraft dampers without the KG designation are designed for circular ventilation ducts – circular ducts or plastic ED ducts.
Selecting a check valve according to the fan:
Tight non-return dampers suitable for installation with an axial fan: RSKT, KZK / KZK-S or double-leaf KZK2 / KZK2-S
Odour-tight non-return dampers suitable for installation in cooker hoods, small centrifugal and duct fans: RSKW, KPK or two-blade KPK2

Odour-proof non-return dampers are made of ABS plastic using 3D printing, and the membrane is made of silicone. The damper perimeter is fitted with a rubber seal, which ensures tightness and secure attachment of the non-return damper in the ventilation duct. The valves slide directly into the sewer or ventilation duct without the need for gluing or other modifications.
