The noise-insulated CAB 400 RE fan is suitable for ventilating houses, sanitary facilities, offices, plant rooms and much more. The fan housing is made of galvanized steel sheet, coated with a 50 mm layer of soundproofing material. There are two circular spigots on the housing equipped with a single-lip seal for connecting the air flexible hose or air duct. The fan speed can be controlled by electronic or transformer controllers. Installation is also possible outdoors in any position of the motor axis.
Housing
The fan housing is made of galvanized steel sheet. The casing is coated with a 50mm layer of soundproofing material. The fan casing has circular spigots with single-lip seals for connecting flexible air hoses or circular air ducts.
Impeller
The impeller is radial with backward curved blades. The impeller is pressed directly onto the outer rotor of the motor.
Motor
The motor is asynchronous, with an external rotor. Depending on the type, the motors are with or without a starting capacitor. The thermal fuse is located in the motor winding. Insulation class B, protection IP44 (CAB 100-CAB 315) or insulation class F, protection IP55 (CAB 355 RE-CAB 400 RE).
Terminal block
The terminal block is loosely mounted on the cable for ease of installation. Depending on the type of fan, it has a condenser bracket. IP55 protection.
Speed control
Speed control is performed by electronic or transformer controllers.
Mounting
Mounting is also possible outdoors in any position of the motor axis. The casing must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ducts. A flexible connection to the ductwork must be used.

Z roku 1948 pocházejí patentové přihlášky Eduarda SOLERA na motor s vnějším rotorem, který firma Soler & Palau začala využívat ve ventilátorech o mnoho let dříve než ostatní výrobci. Ti tento typ motoru začali využívat až poté, co Soler & Palau vyrobil první milion motorů.
