Description
The Systemair KVK fan can be used for air supply or extraction where quiet operation is a priority. This makes the fan suitable for a variety of commercial and domestic applications.
Design
The Systemair KVK fan is fitted with an impeller featuring backward-curved blades. The fan motor is mounted on a hinged plate for easy maintenance and cleaning. The fan, designed for circular ventilation ducts, is thermally and acoustically insulated with a 50 mm layer of mineral wool.
Installation
The Systemair KVK fan can be installed in any position. Outdoor installation is only possible with a protective cover.
Thermal protection and speed control
The fan is fitted with a motor featuring integrated thermal contacts connected to the terminal block, which must be connected to the appropriate thermal protection relay. The fan speed can be controlled using a frequency converter with a sine filter, a thyristor or a 5-step transformer.
